Maritime Economy Forum Gdynia 2017
On the 13th of October 2017 took place the 17th edition of the Maritime Economy Forum Gdynia. The Forum comprises 4 discussion panels („Maritime Industries”, „Sea ports”, „Maritime Logistics” and „Ship Management”). It is also a meeting place for representatives of the maritime sector and the academic environment.
During the Forum one presented a film review of events in the shipbuilding industry during the past year, produced by PortalMorski.pl. Afterwards the „Innovative Maritime Economy 2017” statues have been awarded to: Krzysztof Gerowski – Chairman of Remontowa LNG Systems (category: COMPANY), Piotr Dowżenko – Chairman of Remontowa Shipbuilding (category: TECHNOLOGY), Katarzyna Safuryn – Chairman of DESART sp. z o.o. (category: CALCULATION TECHNIQUES), and Ewa Kruchelska – Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Crist Sp. z o.o (category: PRODUCT). The award on the category PERSONALITY was awarded to Mr. Zbigniew Miodowski – Chairman of ZinkPower Szczecin Sp. z o.o. The founder of the prizes is Piotr Soyka, Chairman of Remontowa Holding SA.
This year's edition of the Forum was accompanied by „Innovations From the Sea” exhibition, which presented innovative solutions designed and implemented by companies from the Pomerania region, among others the LNG system produced by Remontowa LNG Systems.
On 11-13.09.2017 took place the 19th edition of the BALTEXPO exhibition. During the event Remontowa LNG Systems together with other companies of the Remontowa Holding Group had the opportunity to present its hitherto executed projects for the maritime and offshore industry. The BALTEXPO International Exhibition and Conference is the biggest in Poland and one of the most prestigious in Europe events dedicated to maritime economy, organized constantly every two years since 1982.

In the coming week (11-13.09.2017) in AmberExpo Exhibition and Congress Center in Gdańsk the BALTEXPO 2017 International Exhibition & Conferences will be held. Remontowa LNG Systems would like to invite you to the Remontowa Holding stand (no. 1.04 – 1.18) to meet us. Apart from the possibility to meet our representatives, the fairs offer a rich program of conferences devoted to maritime issues.

We are pleased to inform that on July 3rd, 2017 Remontowa LNG Systems Ltd. (in cooperation with Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Faculty of Mechanical and Power Engineering, Department of Cryogenic, Air and Process Engineering) commenced implementing of the new Research & Development project “Optimization of power supply systems for marine, road or rail drives which use natural gas in liquified form”.The value of the project amounts to 15.253.226,19 zloty and is financed from the European Regional Development Fund. On 30.05 – 02.06.2017 Remontowa LNG Systems participated in Nor-Shipping 2017 Exhibition in Oslo, Norway as part of the Remontowa Holding Group stand. The Nor-Shipping Fair is one of the biggest maritime industry exhibitions in Europe. It is a perfect platform for networking and establishing valuable business relations.
WaterWays EXPO 2016
On 16-18.06.2016 we participated in the WaterWays EXPO 2016 organised in Warsaw under the honorary auspices of the Minister of Maritime Economy and Inland Navigation. This was the 3rd International Trade Fair and Conference of Water and Inland Economy. The main theme of the fair were investments and innovation on Polish inland waterways.
On June, 1st in Dwór Artusa in Gdańsk the Final Gala of the „Economic Griffin” Pomeranian Award Contest took place. It is one of the most prestigious regional economic awards for leaders of the Pomeranian entrepreneurship. This year also our company joined the laureates by obtaining a distinction.
On 18-19.05.2016 Remontowa LNG SystemsLtd. Participated in the NaviGate 2016 exhibition in Turku, Finland as part of the joint Polish stand organised by the Trade and Investment Promotion Section of the polish Embassy in Helsinki. These fairs are a meeting place of representatives of the Finnish marine industry.
